The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J. M. Sheridan replaced R.P. Whelan on Cowardofthecounty, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 3)(Stewards permission)
W. J. Lee rode Suerte (reserve) trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery (Race 5)
Mr Alix Lemaire replaced Kenny Roussety on Derry Lad, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman (Race 7)(Stewards permission).

225A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards received a request from Noel Meade, trainer of Sovereign Jazz, to run his charge without hind shoes. Having consulted with the IHRB Veterinary Officer and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Noel Meade had conformed with the provisions of Regulation 16 and they allowed the request on this occasion.

R.L. Moore, rider of Drumbeat, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not cross the road well.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Jesus Green, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around off the bridle when he got to the front.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Drumbeat, ridden by R.L. Moore, Francillon (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, and Jesus Green, ridden by D. Browne McMonagle where it appeared Francillion ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. L. Moore stated that there was very slight contact. C. T. Keane stated that his race was run when he received a minor bump and his mount over reacted. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

225B Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

P. McGettigan, rider of Trovao Dourado, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Parish Team, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference in the straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

B.M. Coen, rider of Hard Promises, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around when he used his whip the first time.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Magnum Cor, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very green and raw and he lugged left throughout. He added that he did not travel through the early part of the race before getting going late on.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Handani, ridden by C.D. Hayes, and Hard Promises, ridden by B.M. Coen, where it appeared Hard Promises went left across Handani. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. D. Hayes stated that there was very slight interference. B. M. Coen stated that his mount went left and he corrected him before then going to the rail when he was clear. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Patrick J.Flynn, trainer of Nottooshabby, and R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Nottooshabby, in relation to the horse's late arrival to the start. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that his other runner in the race had become very worked up and he had to attend to it which had delayed him legging up Ms Donaghue-Leahy. Evidence was also heard from R. Donaghue-Leahy who stated that her mount had unseated her in the parade ring first time out and she trotted him a short distance but once she got organised she hacked away to the start. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

225D Ballyroan Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Endorsement, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Endorsement, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped back slightly.

225E Carnival de Leop H'cap

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Gordon Bennett, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slipped leaving the stalls.

Sadhbh Tormey, rider of Jazzit (GB), trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount fly leapt from the stalls.

225F Renault Ireland H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tequila (FR), trained by Robson De Aguiar, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have mild lameness on its left hind post race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Cillian Rowan, rider of Comfort Line, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Cillian Rowan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (third offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Cillian Rowan for nine racedays.

J.E. Harnett, rider of Sinbad My Dad, trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

Reese Holohan, rider of Moyassr, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Tequila (FR), trained by Robson De Aguiar, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Darkdeserthighway, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not get a clear run.

225G Fegentri World Championship QR Hcp

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr P.J. Cawley, rider of Boxing Great, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr P. J. Cawley was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Mr P. J. Cawley for two racedays.
